We help you find professional contractors for your home improvement, maintenance, and service needs. smallrepairs.nextstepremodeling uses the Service Magic service to provide a network of qualified, pre-screened contractors in your area.

We qualify every contractor we use

To join the service network, all contractors must provide the following:

Licensing—Each contractor must provide all current, relevant licensing as required by the state in which the company does business.
Insurance—Proof of liability, bonding, and Workers´ Comp. insurance must be supplied by each contractor.
Bankruptcy—A third-party service provides information about the contractor which confirms that there is no bankruptcy filing within the last seven years.(It´s three years for real estate agents.)
Legal—A third-party service verifies that no legal judgements have been rendered against the contractor within the last three years.

We do our best to get well-qualified, professionals in their fields, but even so, to protect yourself and your home, always ask each contractor who is providing an estimate for copies of licensing and insurance. Be sure to get references, then take the time to check them. You´ll be glad you did.
